John A. Schaefer, P.T., has been a practicing physical therapist for over 23 years, and has directed physical therapy in various clinics since 1992. He holds degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park, and Northwestern University, Chicago, where he received his BS in Physical Therapy in 1980. He is certified in the use of MedX spinal rehabilitation equipment through the University of California, San Diego, and uses the protocols developed in academic research both at UCSD and at the University of Florida Health Science Center.
